Pressure cook 1 cup rice and ½ cup toor dal with 4–5 cups water for 3–4 whistles until soft.
Boil mixed vegetables with a pinch of salt and keep aside. Soak tamarind or use Annam Tamarind Paste and strain the pulp.
In a pot, mix the cooked dal-rice, vegetables, tamarind pulp, 2–3 tbsp Bisibela Bath Powder, salt, and hot water for desired consistency. Simmer for 5–10 minutes.
In ghee, temper mustard seeds, red chilli, hing, curry leaves, and cashews. Pour over the bath. Mix well, add a little jaggery if preferred, garnish with coriander, and serve hot with ghee.
Annam products are crafted fresh and preservative-free. To keep the richness alive, transfer the contents to an airtight container. Use only a clean, dry spoon. Store in a cool, dry place or refrigerate.
